dsnm further strengthen their Yacht Management team

In the latter part of 2022, we welcomed Buster Brown to the Yacht Management team here at dsnm ltd.

Buster brings with him a wealth of experience in the maritime industry, serving 22 years in the Royal Navy. He looked after chart outfits onboard warships for over a decade, before becoming the Royal Navy’s inspector of all things ‘chart outfit’.

For his last 3 years’ service Buster was at the Royal Navy’s Sea training arm, which involved travelling around the world, visiting various UK and foreign warships. Whilst serving in the Royal Navy, Buster became a crew member onboard HMY Britannia. During this time, he completed a global tour in cooperating Australia’s 200 year bi-centenary celebrations and met most of the Royal Family during this time.

Upon leaving the Royal Navy and donning civilian attire, Buster was asked to become the Royal Navy’s Chart Outfit Instructor at their Navigation school in Fareham, Hampshire, where he instructed for 5 enjoyable years.

In 2014 Buster began supporting clients with their chart outfit suites & navigational management in the superyacht sector, which included many visits to vessels.

Buster will be making regular visits to the major marinas and shipyards in Europe to liaise with clients and to share his knowledge and expertise.
