Charting thoughts on the new DSNM client portal
The new DSNM client portal is now in full sail - so we asked one of our long-standing clients to take it for a spin and report back to us. Apparently, they didn’t get lost, so our reputation for setting the standard in navigation is as safe as ever! Here’s what they had to say….
“Logging into the new portal is a breeze now there’s easy access from the DSNM website and the promise of making my job and that of my crew much easier is certainly ringing true. All our vital account information such as current subscriptions and PDF invoice files are easy to find as well as a direct link to the Vessel Management System. A stand-out feature of the portal is the addition of the ‘How to’ videos which are really useful, both as reminders or for help in training new crew. Their step-by-step format with screen images and voiceover are very clear and at first glance there seems to be one for everything we’d want, from creating a chart list to importing routes from Transas. Our main interest right now are the guides on using Voyager 7 software but I’m guessing a look at the E-Pilot videos would have me yearning for that too.
We haven’t yet tested the new downloads function for Supplements and Erratas but I’m told the latest updates will be added promptly so we can obtain the latest information as soon as possible.
So, our final verdict on the new client portal? It’s certainly a ship-shape addition to DSNM’s services - good job.”
